Founded in 2014, the Los Angeles Archivists Collective (LAAC) is a volunteer-run organization that supports approximately 2,200+ members, including archivists, librarians, students, museum professionals, and others who have a strong interest in archives and preservation.
Acid Free Magazine is the official publication of the Los Angeles Archivists Collective. Founded in 2016, Acid Free is a thematic online magazine that seeks to be a non-academic forum of a variety of voices and issues in our field, to ground archivists locally and regionally while also keeping an eye toward larger conversations and landscapes.
Your donation helps to keep LAAC membership free and accessible to all persons related to or interested in the archival field.
Our Mission:

- Facilitate a forum for collaboration, education, participation, and professional growth.
- Provide archival outreach to local communities by offering educational workshops, facilitating connections to local resources, and promoting general archival awareness.
